Dear strategic voter:
Help me out, I don’t understand. So you are going to vote for something that you don’t believe in to not elect what you passionately want to defeat? How is that different from our current government trying to scare the pants off their voter base?
Here’s an idea – go door knocking with any candidate’s campaign you want. Listen – find out what people are saying. You need to see their faces, find out what they think – show some respect before you dismiss democracy and our individual rights to choose the next Parliament of Canada and our next member of Parliament.
Please, strategic voter – don’t sit on the cynical sideline and game the system by creating a website to promote a vote based on polls (that are likely wrong) or make a pledge on Facebook to vote swap.
Before you vote, listen to the people of your community, engage. Turn off your tablet and find out what people are really saying in your community.
