Regarding the idea to add more tax to the already insane price we have to pay (“SCRD to discuss taxing people at the pump,” Nov. 20).
The local gas cartel is charging more than the traffic can bear as it is. Only someone who has totally lost touch with reality could have come up with this bit of idiocy. Are our local autocrats so overpaid and underworked that they come up with ever more crackpot scams? Let’s dump a bunch of them and use their salaries to finance the buses.
