I do believe that Frank McIlroy, in his letter last week (Coast Reporter, Oct. 18) would, on reflection, change his wording.
He just about places anybody and everybody involved in the Sechelt Aquatic Centre, under suspicion. That would include the architect, who designed the Centre and prepared the drawings and specifications, the mechanical, electrical and structural engineers, who prepared the drawings and specifications for their disciplines, the general contractor, who supervised the construction, his subcontractors, the suppliers of specified materials and equipment. And yes, those responsible for maintenance. And so on. Quite a big "allegedly negligent" umbrella.
There is no better place than civil court he says. Maybe for resolving the finger pointing, but I do hope that everybody, and that includes Frank McIlroy, cools it.
