Hundreds of people gathered at the cenotaph at the Gibsons Branch 109 of the Royal Canadian Legion to observe Remembrance Day on Sunday. The ceremony began with the march of the Colours, followed by the singing of "O Canada" by Richard Fortier, two minutes of silence, a prayer by Pastor Jaz Ghag, and the laying of the wreaths. Later in the morning, Staff Sgt. Poppy Hallam gave a speech commemorating veterans. See more photos in our online galleries at www.coastreporter.net/photos-videos
