Hopkins Landing resident George Skea, 84, displays a special family Remembrance Day wreath that was placed at the cenotaph in Gibsons for Monday’s ceremony. It pays tribute to the military service of “a typical Scottish family,” starting with Skea’s father who served in the First World War. “Of three brothers who went abroad – only two came back,” it says.
