Two people have lost their home after a fire destroyed a camper trailer parked on a property at 2692 Highway 101 in Roberts Creek.

Roberts Creek fire chief Patrick Higgins said the call came in around 11:50 a.m. March 23. Crews were able to respond within about 15 minutes, but by the time they got to the scene, the trailer was engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading, and the nearby home escaped damage.

Higgins said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Emergency Social Services – which can provide food and shelter for up to 72 hours – has been helping the couple, and friends have launched a gofundme campaign called “C and S get back on their feet fund.” It has raised about $1,600 so far.

Members of the electronic music community are planning a fundraiser for April 22 at the Roberts Creek Community Hall.
