Sunshine Coast Lions Club hosted a walk on Sunday, May 26 to raise funds for the Lions Guide Dog Foundation. Corporate sponsor Pet Valu assisted in hosting the event. Several furry participants joined the walk along with their two-legged friends. The final total of money raised that day from donations, sponsorship, and proceeds from the barbecue was $4,028. The Lions are hoping to expand the event in the future and thank everyone who came out to participate or donated money to the cause.
