A single-vehicle accident took place last week on the hairpin curve in the 12000 block of Highway 101, north of Middlepoint.
The accident was at the same spot where a serious accident took place last November when local firefighters Bill Gilkes and Tyrel Brackett performed a high-angle rope rescue to free a woman who was trapped after her SUV plunged into a creek, 12 metres down the embankment.
No information was available on the condition of the driver in this week’s crash.
