Tools stolen from Sechelt worksite

More than $10,00 worth of tools were reported stolen March 16 from a jobsite in the 6400 block of Gale Avenue North in Sechelt.

More than $10,00 worth of tools were reported stolen March 16 from a jobsite in the 6400 block of Gale Avenue North in Sechelt.

Sunshine Coast RCMP say the tools were stolen from a locked garage on the property and it’s believed the theft occurred between March 13 at 9:30 p.m. and March 14 at 2:30 p.m.

The company name SPANI may be found etched into some of the tools and some will have a SPANI sticker affixed to them. Among the stolen items were Hilti, Makita and Bosch brand tools, including various drills and laser levels.

Police are asking the public to come forward with any information on suspicious vehicles seen in the area around that time or the days previous. Any homeowners with surveillance cameras that capture street activity in the blocks around the 6400 block of Gale Avenue North are asked to contact RCMP or report tips confidentially to CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
