Although the candidates have been active for weeks, the provincial election campaign doesn’t officially start until the writ is issued April 11, and there are already three all-candidates forums organized for the Sunshine Coast.
The Gibsons and District Chamber of Commerce is hosting the candidates April 18, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Heritage Playhouse on North Road.
The Sechelt and District Chamber of Commerce is holding a forum the following night, April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chatelech Secondary.
And the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association and Alliance 4 Democracy have scheduled an all-candidates green forum April 21 at the Roberts Creek Hall from 7 to 9 p.m.

Election day is May 9, with advance polls on April 29 and May 3.
