Coast Reporter general manager Yvonne Paulson presents a cheque for $1,760 to Nora Jessome, program coordinator of the Sunshine Coast Emergency Cold Weather Shelter, on behalf of Coast Reporter and local businesses involved in The Tree That Gives.
The Tree That Gives was an advertising page where businesses that participated gave a portion of the price of their ads to the cold weather shelter. Coast Reporter then matched business donations for a total of $1,760.
