The Sunshine Coast Salmonid Enhancement Society held its annual fundraising dinner on April 8 at Sechelt Seniors Activity Centre, in support of the Chapman Creek Hatchery.

The gala event included hors d’oeuvres and dinner prepared by chefs Aldo Cogrozzi and Lynn Grossutti, a silent auction, a live auction with Wayne Skinner, and numerous prize draws. Winner of the $2,000 grand prize was Patti Clement, and the $800 early bird prize winner was Moira Clement.

Executive director David Burnett said, “The Sunshine Coast Salmonid Enhancement Society would like to say thank you to the business community for their generous donations of live and silent auction items, the community for all their support and a special thank you to all the volunteer board of directors and volunteers who made this event possible.”
