Sunshine Coast RCMP say a suspect is in custody, following a February 19 robbery in Sechelt.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. a male allegedly entered a residence in Sechelt and robbed the two residents of cash and jewelry.
RCMP said William "Billy" Williams was arrested on the afternoon of February 21 at a local motel where he was staying with a female companion.
Williams was expected to remain in custody until a March 1 court appearance on charges of robbery, uttering threats, pointing a firearm and possession of a weapon.
"We would like to thank the public who offered tips which assisted in locating Mr. Williams," said Cst. Karen Whitby of the Sunshine Coast RCMP.
The investigation is ongoing.
