Three women were facing charges after Sunshine Coast RCMP executed a search warrant at a West Sechelt home on the evening of Dec. 20.
Police said five people, including two of the women facing charges, an 18-year-old and a 46-year-old, were arrested at the home. Two others were released without charge. The third woman facing charges, a 56-year-old, was arrested a short distance from the home.
All three women will appear in court in early 2018 on charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
RCMP said the search of the home turned up crack cocaine, marijuana and opioids. Investigators also seized what they say was “a large quantity of tablets and capsules,” which will have to be sent to a lab for analysis.
