The driver was uninjured but the vehicle sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene. The driver, who had an expired driver’s licence, was issued a violation ticket for no driver’s licence. The matter has been referred to ICBC.

• On Oct. 18, a resident in the 5500 block of Nickerson Road, Sechelt, reported what sounded like fireworks were being set off nearby and that it was causing the lights in the house to flicker. BC Hydro and the Sechelt Volunteer Fire Department attended to deal with the matter and no other damage was reported.
Commercial Vehicle Collision
• In the late afternoon of Oct. 18, police attended a single-vehicle incident in the 6700 block of Highway 101, after a commercial truck rolled over and ended up in the ditch.
