Sunshine Coast RCMP say an arrest has been made after a break-in at a West Sechelt home on Christmas Day.
The Mason Road home was burglarized while the family was out having Christmas dinner elsewhere. They returned to find the home ransacked and gifts, money, electronics – including two laptops and a cell phone – and several other items missing. The thief also helped himself to a frozen pizza, chocolates and wine.
RCMP said this week that break and enter charges have been recommended against a male suspect, and the case is now before the courts.
The stolen items have not been recovered.
