Police seek tips in Wilson Creek break and enter

Sunshine Coast RCMP are asking the public for information related to a business break and enter in Wilson Creek on Saturday, Aug. 22

Police say they were dispatched to an alarm for the Canadian Tire at 4380 Sunshine Coast Hwy. between 10:15 p.m. and 11:30 that night.

“Police believe two suspects were involved wearing masks and gloves and believed to have come from the back parking lot of Canadian Tire,” RCMP said in a release.

Shortly after, Gohanya Market, located at 4330 Sunshine Coast Hwy., was broken into with entry gained through the front door.

Anyone who observed suspicious activity between 10:15 and 11:30 p.m. near the 4300 block of Sunshine Coast Highway, or has any information on the case, is asked to call the RCMP at 604-885-2266 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
