Sechelt resident Ron Paradis (far right) was acclaimed for a third two-year term as the president of the United Canadian Métis Nation (formerly known as the Vancouver Métis Citizens Society) at its Annual General Meeting at the Fraserview Library in Vancouver on July 21. Judy Thibault (second on the right) of Langdale was acclaimed vice-president.
