Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) chair Garry Nohr is back at home after being released from St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, according to his wife Patricia Anderson.
Nohr, the director for Halfmoon Bay, suffered a heart attack June 25.
During his absence from the SCRD, Area A director Frank Mauro stepped in as chair, and alternate director Brian Smith represented Halfmoon Bay.
Anderson said they’d like to thank BC Ferries for “excellent assistance at Horseshoe Bay, onboard, and at Langdale” during Nohr’s trip back home last week.
She also said Nohr plans to continue his recuperation during the SCRD board’s August break and welcomes visitors and phone calls, although they’re asking anyone with plans to visit to call ahead.
