Members of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary (formerly called the St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary) gathered in Sechelt on June 15 to hang a new sign at the thrift store on Cowrie Street in recognition of their new name.
The old sign, which was donated by long-time member Eunice Keeler, will continue to hang in her memory inside the store.
The Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary Thrift Store is staffed entirely by volunteers who donate every cent made through the sale of clothing and goods to the Sechelt Hospital and other health care facilities on the Coast.
