Two clever performers, Chloé Ziner and Jessica Gabriel, of Mind of a Snail Shadow Puppets put on a comical show for the many kids and adults who crowded into the Roberts Creek Hall Jan. 19 during Literacy Week. Using overhead projectors and a lot of imagination the story titled The Nose Knows led the audience into the world of smell where they met a rapping dust mite and cold viruses while learning the importance of washing hands. The Sunshine Coast Literacy Coalition plans a drumming and song circle for all ages on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Seaside Centre in Sechelt from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and they welcome children who are five years and older.
