Sunshine Coast Transit will be offering extra trips and free service after 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31.
The free evening service will apply on routes 1 Sechelt-Gibsons/Langdale Ferry, and 90 Sechelt-Gibsons/Langdale Ferry Express, with the aim of helping New Year’s Eve celebrants get home safely.
For the remainder of the holidays, regular Sunday service will be in effect Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 before 7 p.m. while Sunday-level service will be in effect Dec. 25 and 26 and Jan. 1.
