A crew of volunteers hosted dinner on July 7 for the Cowichan Warriors, firefighters from Khowutzun Forest Services in the Duncan area, who are helping battle the Sechelt fire.
The volunteer group will be serving two meals a day at the Sechelt Indian Band Hall to crews fighting the blaze.
Dozens of residents and business owners have stepped up to donate food and cash, and to help with cooking and clean-up.
