SIGD

The Advisory Council acts as a voice for leaseholders on shíshálh Nation lands and is elected under similar rules as municipal councils.

The contested seat is for SBL1 and the candidates are incumbent William Scotland and Mary Koyanagi, who sat last term as the SIGD Advisory Council member-at-large.

Voting takes place Oct. 20 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sechelt Indian Band humam Building’s makwan Room.
