The Queen of Capilano is back to business as usual after cancellations between 7:30 p.m. Sunday night and 9 a.m. Monday morning.
With the ferry’s return to service, BC Hydro crews made it to Bowen and were on scene Monday, trying to restore power to the more than 1,600 homes that lost power overnight.
Trees fell on powerlines at Millers Road at Seven Hills, 292 Smugglers Cove Road and at 1823 Finisterre Road, closing the roads.
The municipal hall was open for people to warm up and charge their devices.
