On Friday, Aug. 10, the Sunshine Coast Community Forest (SCCF) Legacy Fund grants were presented at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden to the community groups selected earlier this year. Grant recipients were the Gibsons Landing Heritage Society for the Heritage Playhouse lighting upgrade, the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden Society to establish the Mountainside Habitat Garden, the Serendipity Child Development Society in Madeira Park for upgrading playground equipment, and the Sunshine Coast Search and Rescue Association Halfmoon Bay for the John Hind Smith Hall expansion project.
