Coast Reporter picked up a pair of Canadian Community Newspaper Awards in the General Excellence category, News Media Canada announced last week.
Going up against community newspapers from across the country, Coast Reporter was judged third for Best All-Round Newspaper and first for Best Editorial Page in its circulation class.
In a congratulatory note to staff, publisher Peter Kvarnstrom said: “A great team and a great community can do great things!”
