Carol cruise rescheduled

Sechelt Inlet

The Christmas Carol Cruise is back on this Saturday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m.

The annual festive cruise in Sechelt Inlet was cancelled previously, due to inclement weather.

Coasters are invited to come and enjoy the ships sailing in Sechelt Inlet, decked out in lights and playing Christmas music this Saturday, when the weather is expected to cooperate.

The best place to view the West Coast-style Christmas parade is at Porpoise Bay Provincial Park where there will be a bonfire, carollers, hot chocolate and popcorn for guests who gather, thanks to support from the Sunshine Coast Salmonid Enhancement Society.

Attendees at the park are asked to bring a non-perishable item for the food bank.

The nautical Christmas parade starts at 6 p.m. precisely, so show up early to make sure you don’t miss it.
