Coast Car Co-op will hold its 2018 Annual General Meeting and community discussion on Sunshine Coast mobility at 6:30 p.m. May 23 at Wheatberries Gibsons.
A Sunshine Coast-based carshare program, Coast Car Co-op enters into its fourth year of operation with five vehicles available by the hour. Over 100 full member/owners share vehicles in Gibsons, Roberts Creek and Sechelt for $8 per hour.
The evening will begin with a report on 2017 Coast Car Co-op operations, and an update on the Coast Car Co-op fundraising campaign. Members will elect a board of directors and have an opportunity to ask questions of the staff and board. Two new projects and details about an upcoming raffle will also be released.
The short business meeting will be followed by an open discussion on Sunshine Coast mobility highlighting the area’s unique transportation requirements.
