The Sechelt Arts Festival celebrated its opening with a reception at the Seaside Centre on Thursday, Oct. 5.
Guests visited against the backdrop of the curated exhibit Origins: Legacies of Coast Art that features a diverse collection of works by Coast families who have created a lasting artistic legacy (running until Oct. 22).
The Festival continues with events celebrating visual art, heritage, dance, music, theatre, emerging artists, and a variety of workshops.
