50 per cent off BC Ferries

Fall Promotion

Starting Nov. 14 and continuing until Dec. 18, BC Ferries will cut vehicle fares in half on off-peak sailings for all its routes, including Route 3 between Horseshoe Bay and Langdale.

The promotion will be in effect on select sailings Monday through Thursday, Saturday and Sunday morning. It will apply to cars, motorcycles, trucks, SUVs, vans or recreational vehicles, though the discount applies to the first 20 feet of vehicle length only.

The discount will bring the standard vehicle fare from $54 to $27 on Route 3 and from $52.60 to $26.30 on the Earls Cove to Saltery Bay run.

The fleetwide promotion is similar to a discount offered in the fall of 2015.

“BC Ferries is pleased to once again offer this vehicle promotion for customers to enjoy some savings this fall,” Mike Corrigan, BC Ferries’ president and CEO, said in  a statement. “We understand fare affordability remains a key concern for customers and hope they take advantage of this promotion when planning their fall travel. It was very popular last year and encouraged many passengers to travel on off-peak sailings, which helps shift traffic across our system.”

BC Ferries says it is planning another pricing promotion for next spring.
