Highway 101 is one lane alternating on the south side of Sechelt. 

Update 2:15 p.m.

Alertable says traffic that had been blocked in Davis Bay is now flowing. However, reports say another incident has blocked Highway 101 near Tsain-Ko Mall.

Vehicles are stranded and abandoned on the lower Sunshine Coast, "making it a hazardous situation everywhere," Sunshine Coast RCMP warned in a Facebook post at about noon Monday, asking drivers to stay off the roads if they don't have snow tires. 

The situation is "very slippery and dangerous conditions everywhere," the situation is particularly difficult in Davis Bay where semi trucks are stuck. 

Traffic is also one lane alternating near Largo Road, said a post shortly after noon.
