Self-publishers

A new group, The Sunshine Coast Independent Writers, have been focusing their attention on participation in the Festival of the Written Arts in August. They are organizing the tables to allow local self-published authors to display and sell their books this year. They ask that those authors interested in having their books on the table should join them for at least one group meeting in order to be a part of the process. The next meeting is Thursday, June 24 at 10 a.m. at Stan Dixon's house in Sechelt. Since there is no street address, someone will meet you at the Raven's Cry Theatre just before 10 a.m. to guide you.

Let me know about your events by email [email protected] or phone 604-886-4692 before 6 p.m. on Tuesdays for Friday's newspaper. The column covers events in the immediate future only (one day to one week).
