Back by popular demand is David Hickey's Crystal Bowl concert, to be held Friday, Sept. 1 and Saturday, Sept. 2 at St. Hilda's Anglican Church in Sechelt.

Last November's eventattracted some 160 people, many of whom expressed eagerness for a return visit, so when Rev. Mark Lemon, host of the program co-sponsored by Quantum Consciousness Forum learned that a two-evening engagement was possible, he was quick to accept.

The crystal bowls -more than a dozen of various sizes - are tuned to vibrate at a range of frequencies that according to Hickey harmonize with the charkas or energy centres within the human body.Crystals are fossilized water. When silica sand and water are combined under certain conditions of pressure, temperature and energy, crystals are formed. Quartz crystal is known to amplify, transform, store, focus, and transfer energy. The human body is crystalline in structure, which leads to the crystals having a profound effect on our organs, tissues, cells, circulatory, endocrine, and metabolic systems.

The numerous concerts Hickey is invited to perform annually at cancer clinics, hospices and other healing centres across Canada attest to their powerful healing potential.

The program starts at 7 p.m. on both days. Admission is by donation, suggested $20 at the door.
