The Pender Harbour Jazz Festivalhas launched a new annual sponsorship program called Kool Kats.
Kool Kats is a way for families and individuals to help the Festival to keep on going and bring in world-class jazz to Pender Harbour every third weekend in September.
And there are perks too, including two weeks advance ticket purchase June 1 to 15, early bird seating at selected venues, free Festival T-shirts and a chance to win a limited edition print by Motoko.
The 2011 entertainment line-up is complete and available for viewingat www.phjazz.ca.
Festival organizers continue to bring you the best jazz musicians Canada has to offer, in every style of jazz to suit every taste: swing, hot Latin, be-bop, modern, straight up, fusion, big band, Gypsy and more.
This festival, like all other arts events, is suffering from reduced sponsorship and grant money. To keep the festival alive, organizers need to reach out to loyal fans to become sponsors at the individual and family level. Individual Kool Kat sponsorships are $150, family sponsorships are $250 and both can be purchased safely with a credit card or PayPal account, on-line.
