Art show

The Sunshine Coast Arts Council presents Susan Fletcher's Seasons and Afuwa Granger's Transience and Beauty as its May exhibitions at the Doris Crowston Gallery in the Arts Centre in Sechelt. This is the fifth exhibition in the 2010-2011 calendar.

Fletcher examines in her pieces the turnings of the earth, the seasons of life and land, the answers to questions drawn from deep contemplation. Granger's work explores the surface of the female body as well as the secrets that surface can reveal.

The opening reception for Seasons and Transience and Beauty is Wednesday, May 12, at 7 p.m. The exhibition runs to Sunday, May 30.
