Roberts Creek artist Derek von Essen opened his show, Lost and Found and Broken, at the Gibsons Public Art Gallery on April 9.
His show of recycled, recontextualized materials dovetailed well with a photography show, Nature’s Gallery Underfoot: A Visual Meditation by Bodhi Drope in the smaller Eve Smart gallery.
The show is on until May 1.
