Good show, Driftwood. The Little Shop of Horrors, a comedic story of a giant plant on the rampage, has been wowing full house audiences since opening night. No wonder it's the biggest, most ambitious Driftwood Players' production to date.
The lead characters excel, the music is hummable, the stage set and props are fantastic, literally. It's on again this weekend, Friday and Saturday, at 8 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinée on Sunday. If tickets are sold out, then plan to go to the Raven's Cry Theatre in Sechelt Apr. 15 to 17. In addition to the Visitors Centre, a newticket outlet has been established at the Oak Tree Market in MadeiraPark for the Sechelt shows. Because of the size of the extensive stage set and the big cast, the production will likely work even more smoothly at a larger venue.
