Artists show their work

Pop-Up Art Gallery

The portico pop-up art gallery at the Raven’s Cry Theatre last Saturday attracted ten plus artists and many more viewers who chatted with the artists before and after the film Herb and Dorothy.

The Sunshine Coast Film Society screened the movie about New York art fans, the Vogels, a couple who collected art on a limited budget because it was their passion.

The artists on site under the portico included Leif Kristian Freed, fresh from his show at the Arts Centre, Sheila Page, Nell Burns with her embroidered artwork, the figurative paintings of Melissa Tulloch, Jennifer Ettinger’s paintings and designer purses.

Pictured are Elaine Seepish showing her abstracts and Roy Peters with his landscapes.
