Music, comedy and just a good old time are in store on Monday, March 12, at the Raven's Cry Theatre in Sechelt.

The Arrogant Worms, a three-man comedy troupe, returns to the Coast for a 7:30 p.m. show.

Using only guitar, bass, great stage presence, super-tight harmonies and the sharpest of wit, The Worms are on a mission to make you laugh. They are Canada's self-proclaimed Clowned Princes of Humour, Purveyors of the Absurd and Ambassadors of Fun. One of Canada's most popular live acts, The Worms' versatility is second to none.

The Worms find their roots in folk and acoustic rock, though they borrow from Celtic, country, reggae, bluegrass, surf music and even gospel. Their easy-going attitude, simple technical requirements, charm and good looks, not to mention diverse musical styles, promise an enjoyable hassle-free show that always delivers.

The Arrogant Worms' humour ranges from topical to the absurd. It is appropriate for any venue and is regularly heard on CBC radio programs such as Basic Black, This Morning, Nightlines and Lorne Elliott's Madly off in all Directions. Their live performances have a reputation for high energy, a playful atmosphere and unusual audience participation. This is clever, clean comedy for all ages.

Tickets are $23 in advance, available at Talewind Books in Sechelt and Coast Books in Gibsons or $25 at the door.
