For many of us a warm shower and clean clothes go a long way to encourage our physical and mental health. For many people in Gibsons this has been a challenge.
To support individuals in our communities, Salvation Army has just opened a new Personal Hygiene Program.
The program offers free showers, toiletries and laundry services to anyone in the community. The program is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon and is offered on a first-come first-serve basis.
Funds for the renovations were made possible by a grant from the Salvation Army British Columbia Division. We would like to thank the Town of Gibsons for their support in the project and to Lincoln Construction for their hard work in the renovations.
Hotel size toiletry donations can be dropped off at our office #5-682 Gibsons Way Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
