The Pender Harbor Community Church at 12891 Lagoon Road will hold their Christmas Eve service at 4 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 24. Everyone is welcome.
Congratulations to the new champions of the Polar Express Light Tour. The bus of judges travelled around Madeira Park Dec. 13 and another selected group of judges travelled the Garden Bay area Dec. 14. There were three champions selected in both areas. Watch out for the new champion signs posted in your neighbourhood.
The beautiful Christmas trees in Madeira Park, a fundraiser for Serendipity Child Care Centre, which businesses, charities and groups donated and decorated were a joyous sight for all to enjoy as were our sparkling downtown stores. Thank you to all!
Pender Harbour Pool hours for the coming week are: Closed Dec. 23 to 26 inclusive; Tuesday, Dec. 27, gym and weight room only 9 a.m. to noon, pool and gym open 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 28, gym and weight room only 9 a.m. to noon, pool and gym open 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Closed Dec. 29 to Jan. 1 inclusive. Regular hours resume Monday, Jan. 2.
