Hundreds of Coasters came out to Lehigh Materials’ annual open house on Sept. 10 to enjoy the festivities that included a BBQ lunch, cupcakes, snow cones, popcorn, a bouncy castle, face painting, prize draws, climbing on the big diggers and going on a bus tour of the site. Guests also received some great take-aways like water bottles and Sechelt Rocks T-shirts as well as safety sunglasses, stickers, balloons, plants and seeds. The annual event is always well attended and, as usual, the organizers and volunteers did a fabulous job hosting the hundreds who showed up.
