Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of May 9!
Kisses to the many new Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Pods that are organizing to support each other and create more resilient communities on the Coast. By gathering information, developing lines of communication, identifying skills and needs in your neighbourhood we will all become more prepared when emergencies arise.
Kisses to the Sechelt Community Associations Forum (SCAF) for organizing the Emergency Preparedness Fair on May 10th at the Seniors Activity Centre.
Kisses and more to Dee and Naomi who showed me such overwhelming kindness and generosity at Clayton’s on Sunday April 27 and to the lady at the Clayton’s deli for her kind assistance. I can only hope I will soon have an opportunity to pay it forward.
Kisses to the kind people who helped me with my runaway scooter and my fall while going to vote. Out of nowhere, these voters and staff were there to help. Thank you, thank you from an ageing and appreciative “oldun”
Kisses: and “ditto” to the writer from HMB who wrote about speeding on Redrooffs Rd and “Respect = a wonderful community to live in.” I would like to add that Frances Rd is not the Gibsons Bypass, or “the Cut” in North Van. It is a residential street without sidewalks, and with children walking to and from school, pedestrians, wildlife and pets.
Kisses to the person who found my garage door opener in the Trail Bay Centre parking lot on April 29, turned it in at Clayton’s, and left a note on my windshield. I don’t use it every day so I don’t know when I would have noticed it missing. Your thoughtfulness is very much appreciated!
Massive kisses to Kristy for the epic 50th bday! You rocked it on your birthday and you rock it harder everyday! Love!
Lawn Mower Kisses to Matt at Home Hardware for exceptional customer service and care, thank you so much, no wonder I shop locally.
Kisses to all the hard workers at Yami Yaki and some of their patrons too. They’ve shown all kinds of generosity and understanding to me.
Heartfelt cases of cookie kisses to our communities for your continued support in purchasing our Girl Guide cookies. A few of our youth were selling extra fundraising cookies for their summer camp experience at Rosseau Lake, Ontario this summer. Your support has helped them get there!
To those who speed up and down Sandpiper Road. The speed limit is 50 km. After over 20 years of complaints no enforcement.
