Pender Harbour’s fourth annual BCSPCA Fundraiser is a week away Saturday, Sept. 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of the EarthFair Store at Madeira Park Shopping Centre. Calling all you fabulous bakers to make your magic for our event. Green thumb gardeners, if you have a bounty of veggies, flowers and herbs to share, we have tables to fill. I will be making dozens of cream puffs and “pupcakes”. Preorders are very welcome.

Seniors Initiative Walking Group, known for their easy pace, will meet at Warnock Road at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30. On Wednesday, Aug. 31, come Carpet Bowling from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hall; drop-in is $3. Thursday Harbourside Friendships is a pizza party at Kathy and Wayne Bergman’s.
