This Friday, Aug. 12, the School of Music Coffee House features two very accomplished groups, Blue Line Trio featuring Dr. Fun, and the Robin Atchison Nelson Giles Duo, each playing half the show. Enjoy a fabulous variety of blues, country, jazz, folk and rock, originals and oldies. Doors open at 7 p.m. for coffee and dessert. The music starts at 7:30 p.m.
Seniors Initiative this coming week will walk it out at an easy pace on Tuesday, Aug. 16, starting at Warnock Road at 10:30 a.m. On Wednesday, Aug. 17, come carpet bowling 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hall. Drop in fee is $3. Thursday Harbourside Friendship will feature a presentation by Dana Jantzen, Mountain Gorillas in Rwanada, starting at 10:30 a.m. at The Hall. Lunch will be served at noon for $10.
