Happy birthday, Penny Lang! Legendary folk singer and Pender Harbour resident celebrates her 74th birthday this Friday, July 15.
Tuesday, July 19, a very special concert – Penny Lang, Family and Friends – will take place at the Pender Harbour Community Hall from 5 to 9 p.m. This is a potluck dinner, so please prepare your best recipe and bring it along with your friends and family.
Rumour has it Penny’s internationally famous son, performer Jason Lang, will be in town. Goggle both of them on YouTube for a most enjoyable preview.
Seniors Initiatives this week includes carpet bowling on Wednesday, July 20, 1 to 3 p.m. Harbourside Friend-ships has planned a bus trip to Geopia Studios in Earl’s Cove departing at 1:15 p.m. and returning approximately 4:30 p.m. Enjoy a garden tour and afternoon tea.
