The Pender Harbour Choir presents Music in the Air in two performances: Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at St. John’s United Church in Davis Bay, and Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m. at the School of Music in Madeira Park, directed by Joy McLeod and accompanied by David Poon. Seniors Initiative activities this week include carpet bowling on Wednesday, June 15, 1 to 3 p.m. and a Harbourside Friendship meeting on Thursday with music from SASS starting at 10:30 a.m. and lunch at noon for $10. Plan to attend Celebration for Seniors on Wednesday, June 22. Bring a friend or caregiver to this special event at the PH Community Hall. There will be lots of fun, door prizes, a photo booth and free lunch at noon. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.
Informal Tai Chi practice (no lessons) this summer will take place behind the Community Hall, Tuesdays at 7 p.m., weather permitting.

A great Guiding year is drawing to a close, and online registration is open for next year. Sparks, Brownies and Pathfinders have had a fabulous year with activities, adventures and community service. A Community Organizations Showcase is being planned by the Pender Harbour Advisory Council for Saturday, July 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the PH Community Hall, as part of Pender Harbour Days. This event will give organizations in Pender Harbour a chance to connect with the community, explain their programs and solicit new volunteers. Registration will open soon.
