Halfmoon Bay Branch of Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary would like to thank everyone who came out and supported their Craft, Bake and Plant Sale on Friday Dec. 2 at Trail Bay Mall. They had a very successful day.
Their next meeting will be a Christmas luncheon on Dec. 12 at the Blue Ocean Golf Club. The meeting starts at 10:30 a.m. and a lunch will follow for those who bought their tickets in advance. Contributions for the Food Bank will be accepted at this meeting. There will not be a meeting in January; Feb. 13 the group meets again at Cooper’s Green Hall at 9:45 a.m. Visitors and new members are welcome.
There will be no more pickleball at the Halfmoon Bay Community School until Jan. 4.
The Breakfast with Santa was a very delightful event. Thanks to those who attended and were rewarded with a wonderful Santa and Mrs. Claus. Halfmoon Bay Community School and Halfmoon Bay Community Association would like to thank sponsors Sechelt Signs, Bob Sutcliffe Photography, London Drugs and the more than 20 volunteers and the Grade 6 class who helped to put on this year’s event.
