Hats off to the organizers of the Roberts Creek Christmas Craft Fair and the Roberts Creek Legion Christmas Fair. Both were well attended with lots of excellent activities. Thank you for your work!
It’s that time of year again! Santa comes to the Creek on Sunday, Dec. 11 at noon. Photos with Santa will take place at the Roberts Creek Library. Meet and greet Santa’s elves, and enjoy cocoa. Donations to the Food Bank will be gratefully accepted.
The Roberts Creek Branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary will be installing the new executive for 2017 at their meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Roberts Creek Legion. The meeting starts at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch. Prospective members, please call Jeanie Parker at 604-886-4214.
The Salvation Army Christmas community dinner will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Camp Sunrise. If you wish to attend the 6 p.m. function, please call 604-886-3680 or 604-885-7603 to register. There is bus pickup in Sechelt, Wilson Creek and Gibsons. Everyone is welcome.
Creative in the Creek is at the Gumboot Café on Thursday, Dec. 15. Doors open at 7 p.m.; show runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Entrance is by donation.
